I grew up amongst the redwoods in the SF Bay Area and was obsessed with cameras from a young age. When I was a teenager discovered a love of light and motion when I began making mountain bike videos with my friends. Simultaneously I nurtured a love for nature, becoming a naturalist interested in fungi, ecology and botany. I am constantly building upon and merging these two passions.

While attending UC Santa Cruz, I fell in love with documentary and experimental modes of filmmaking. I was a part of a creative community that saw film as a tool for personal expression as well as activism and education. This ethos combined with a childhood love of light and motion informs my filmmaking style today. Thoughtful, intimate and impactful projects excite me most.

Based in Oakland, but happy to travel. I am available to work on a variety of projects. Get in touch!
